These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Kombatnet, including the website, mobile app, Progressive Web App, authentication services, social features, promotional services, ads, and any other service connected to the platform.

Kombatnet is a community dedicated to combat sports and martial arts. The platform allows users to create a profile, publish content, interact with other users, follow profiles, receive notifications, access public or restricted content, and use services connected to the community.

By using Kombatnet, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Description of the service

Kombatnet is an online platform dedicated to practitioners, athletes, coaches, gyms, teams, promoters, brands, and fans of martial arts and combat sports.

The platform may include, among others, the following features:

• creation and management of a user profile;

• publication of posts, comments, images, videos, or other content;

• interaction with other users;

• feeds and personalized content;

• notifications;

• public pages;

• profiles, cards, or content visible to the community or to the public;

• reporting and moderation tools;

• promotional or advertising services;

• paid features;

• in-app purchases, where available;

• external links, affiliations, or sponsored content.

Some features may be available only to registered users, only on certain versions of the platform, or only in certain countries.

3. Age requirements

Kombatnet is not intended for users under the age of 18.

By creating an account or using services reserved for registered users, you declare that you are at least 18 years old.

Minors may not create an account, publish content, or use services reserved for registered users. If we become aware of an account created by a minor, we may limit, suspend, or delete it.

4. Registration and account

To use some features of Kombatnet, it may be necessary to create an account.

During registration, you must provide correct, updated, and non-misleading information. You are responsible for the information entered in your account and for the use of your credentials.

You agree to:

• not create fake accounts;

• not impersonate other people, gyms, teams, brands, or organizations;

• not use third-party data without authorization;

• not share passwords, access codes, or credentials;

• protect your account from unauthorized access;

• inform us in case of suspicious or unauthorized use of your account.

Kombatnet may refuse, limit, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, the community rules, or applicable law.

5. Login through external services

Kombatnet may allow login through external services, such as Google, Facebook, Apple, or other providers.

If you choose to log in with an external service, the terms and privacy policies of the chosen provider also apply.

Kombatnet is not responsible for malfunctions, blocks, changes, limitations, or decisions adopted by external services that are not under its control.

6. User profile

The user profile may include personal data, sporting information, images, biography, practiced disciplines, team, gym, city, country, links, and other content voluntarily entered.

Some profile information may be visible to other users or to the public, depending on the platform features and available settings.

You must not include in your profile:

• false or misleading information;

• personal data of third parties without authorization;

• offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content;

• images or names that violate third-party rights;

• unauthorized promotional content;

• references that may create confusion with Kombatnet, its staff, or other parties.

Kombatnet may change the visibility, limit, or remove profiles that violate these Terms or the platform rules.

7. Content published by users

Users may publish content on the platform, such as posts, comments, images, videos, reactions, replies, descriptions, links, or other materials.

You remain the owner of the content you publish, within the limits of the rights that belong to you. By publishing content on Kombatnet, you grant Kombatnet a non-exclusive, free, transferable license, within the limits necessary for the operation of the service, valid worldwide, to host, store, reproduce, display, technically adapt, distribute, and show such content within the platform and connected services.

This license is necessary to allow the technical and practical operation of the platform, for example to show a post in the feed, make an image visible, generate previews, distribute content on different devices, manage backups, notifications, internal sharing, and similar features.

The license ends when you delete the content or cancel your account, except where:

• the content has been shared, commented on, or integrated into conversations with other users;

• retention is necessary for legal obligations, security, moderation, or protection of rights;

• the content is present in technical backups for a limited period;

• immediate removal is not technically possible;

• the content has been anonymized or is no longer directly attributable to the user.

If you publish content of which you are not the author or rights holder, you declare that you have the necessary rights, licenses, or authorizations.

8. Responsibility for content

You are responsible for the content you publish, upload, share, or send through Kombatnet.

You must not publish content that:

• violates the law;

• violates third-party rights;

• contains threats, harassment, hate, discrimination, or incitement to violence;

• promotes illegal activities;

• discloses personal data of third parties without authorization;

• contains false, misleading, or fraudulent material;

• contains spam, scams, or abusive promotional schemes;

• violates copyright, trademarks, image rights, or other rights;

• contains nudity, pornography, or explicit sexual content;

• exploits or involves minors;

• promotes doping, illegal substances, sports fraud, or dangerous practices;

• promotes illegal fights or violent activities outside regulated sporting contexts;

• harms the security, reputation, or proper functioning of the platform.

Kombatnet does not pre-screen all content published by users, but may intervene when it detects or receives reports of non-compliant content.

9. Rules of conduct

By using Kombatnet, you agree to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior consistent with the spirit of the community.

It is not permitted to:

• harass, threaten, or intimidate other users;

• use the platform for personal attacks or hate campaigns;

• publish discriminatory content;

• use fake or multiple accounts to manipulate discussions, reports, votes, reactions, or interactions;

• collect user data without authorization;

• send spam;

• attempt to access unauthorized accounts, systems, or areas;

• interfere with the technical operation of the platform;

• use unauthorized bots, scrapers, or automated tools;

• bypass limits, suspensions, or security measures;

• sell, transfer, or assign accounts without authorization;

• use Kombatnet for illegal or harmful purposes.

Kombatnet may adopt technical, manual, or automated measures to prevent abuse, spam, fraud, attacks, violations, or improper use of the platform.

10. Moderation, reports, and measures

Kombatnet may moderate content, profiles, and behavior to protect the community, comply with the law, and enforce these Terms.

Users may report content, profiles, or behavior that they consider inappropriate.

Following manual, technical, or mixed checks, Kombatnet may adopt one or more measures, including:

• removal of content;

• limitation of visibility;

• warning to the user;

• temporary blocking of certain features;

• temporary suspension of the account;

• permanent suspension of the account;

• deletion of the account;

• limitation of access to promotional or paid services;

• retention of logs or evidence necessary to protect the platform and users;

• reporting to the competent authorities, where necessary.

The measures adopted depend on the severity of the violation, the context, repeated behavior, risks to other users, any damage caused, and legal obligations.

Where possible and appropriate, Kombatnet may provide information about the decision taken. However, some information may not be communicated for reasons of security, privacy, abuse prevention, or protection of other users.

11. Suspension and closure of the account

Kombatnet may suspend, limit, or close an account where:

• the user violates these Terms;

• the user violates the community rules;

• the account is used for spam, fraud, or abuse;

• the account represents a risk to other users;

• the account violates third-party rights;

• the account creates legal, technical, or security risks;

• the account is created by a minor;

• the law or a competent authority requires action.

The user may request deletion of their account through the methods available on the platform or by writing to:

Account deletion may result in loss of access to the profile, content, connected services, and features reserved for registered users.

12. Public pages and indexing

Some content, profiles, cards, or pages on Kombatnet may be public and accessible even without login.

Public content may be viewed, shared, or indexed by search engines and external services, within the limits of the available technical settings and platform features.

Kombatnet cannot guarantee the immediate removal of copies, screenshots, caches, previews, or content saved by third parties outside the platform.

13. Paid services

Kombatnet may offer paid services, including ads, promotions, digital content, additional features, in-app products, or other commercial services.

Before purchase, where applicable, the following information will be indicated:

• price;

• duration;

• main features of the service;

• any limitations;

• payment methods;

• activation conditions;

• any rules on renewals, credits, refunds, or expiration.

Some paid services may be subject to manual or automatic approval, especially when they include advertising content, images, links, promotional texts, or campaigns visible to other users.

Payment for a service does not guarantee automatic approval of content that violates the law, these Terms, the community rules, or the platform’s advertising policies.

14. Ads, promotions, and sponsored content

Kombatnet may allow users or authorized parties to create ads, promotional campaigns, or sponsored content.

Ads must be truthful, lawful, respectful, and consistent with the nature of the platform.

Ads are not allowed if they:

• promote illegal activities;

• violate third-party rights;

• contain false or misleading information;

• promote scams, fraudulent schemes, or unrealistic promises;

• promote hate, discrimination, or violence;

• promote products or services prohibited by law;

• promote doping, illegal substances, or dangerous sports practices;

• promote explicit sexual content;

• exploit minors;

• harm the reputation or security of the community.

Kombatnet may reject, suspend, limit, or remove ads that do not comply with these Terms, platform policies, or applicable law.

Kombatnet does not guarantee specific results from ads, such as views, clicks, sales, sign-ups, contacts, or economic returns.

15. Payments, in-app purchases, and external providers

Payments may be managed through external providers, payment platforms, app stores, in-app purchase management services, or other authorized parties.

Depending on the method used, the terms of the payment provider, app store, or external service may also apply.

For purchases made through app stores, any refund requests, disputes, cancellations, or purchase management may be subject to the rules of the app store used.

Kombatnet does not directly store full payment card data.

16. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you use Kombatnet as a consumer, you are entitled to the rights provided by applicable law.

For digital services, digital content, ads, promotions, in-app purchases, or other paid services, the right of withdrawal, any exceptions, refunds, and methods of exercise may depend on the type of service purchased, the time of activation, the payment channel, and applicable law.

Where necessary, specific information on withdrawal, refunds, duration, activation, and economic conditions will be indicated during the purchase process, on the service page, in the app store, or in communications connected to the purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers by applicable law.

17. Advertising, affiliations, and third-party services

Kombatnet may display advertising, sponsored content, affiliate links, or links to external services.

The presence of an ad, link, or promoted content does not necessarily imply approval, guarantee, or direct responsibility by Kombatnet for third-party products, services, or content.

Kombatnet may use external advertising or commercial services, such as Google AdSense, Google AdMob if and when implemented, RevenueCat for in-app purchase management, and other services necessary for the operation of the platform.

The use of cookies, SDKs, advertising identifiers, or similar technologies is governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

18. Kombatnet intellectual property

Kombatnet, its name, logo, interface, design, software, features, platform structure, institutional texts, graphic elements, and other proprietary content belong to Kombatnet, the service operator, or their respective owners.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, extract, reproduce, or use proprietary elements of Kombatnet without authorization, except as permitted by law or by the ordinary features of the platform.

Use of the platform does not transfer to the user any intellectual property right over Kombatnet or its proprietary elements.

19. Trademarks, names, and third-party content

Users must respect trademarks, trade names, copyright, image rights, and other third-party rights.

You may not publish content that violates third-party rights or may create confusion with people, gyms, federations, brands, organizations, or other parties.

20. No professional advice

Kombatnet is a social and informational platform.

Content published by users does not constitute medical, legal, tax, financial, professional sports, or other professional advice.

Information related to training, competitions, injuries, diet, athletic preparation, recovery, health, or safety is published by users under their own responsibility and must not replace the advice of qualified professionals.

For medical, legal, tax, financial, sports, or personal safety issues, always contact qualified professionals or the competent authorities.

21. Sports activities and risks

Combat sports and martial arts involve physical risks.

Kombatnet does not directly organize training sessions, fights, matches, events, lessons, or competitions, unless expressly indicated.

Any activities carried out outside the platform, agreements between users, meetings, training sessions, events, or relationships between users and third parties take place under the responsibility of the parties involved.

Kombatnet is not responsible for damages, injuries, disputes, or consequences arising from activities carried out outside the platform or from decisions made based on content published by users.

22. Service availability

We try to keep Kombatnet available, secure, and functioning, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be accessible, error-free, or available without interruptions.

The platform may be suspended, limited, or modified for:

• maintenance;

• updates;

• technical problems;

• security;

• force majeure;

• organizational changes;

• actions required by law or competent authorities;

• evolution of features.

Kombatnet may modify, add, or remove features over time.

23. Limitation of liability

Within the limits permitted by law, Kombatnet is not responsible for:

• content published by users;

• user behavior;

• interactions between users online or offline;

• third-party products, services, or content;

• external links;

• loss of data caused by events not attributable to Kombatnet;

• temporary interruptions of the service;

• results not obtained through ads, promotions, or paid features;

• decisions made by users based on content present on the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

24. Indemnity

Within the limits permitted by law, you agree to hold harmless Kombatnet, the service operator, and related parties from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• content you publish;

• improper use of the platform;

• violation of these Terms;

• violation of the law;

• violation of third-party rights;

• unauthorized use of your account caused by your negligence in protecting your credentials.

This clause applies within the limits provided by applicable law and does not limit the mandatory rights granted to consumers.

25. Privacy and cookies

The processing of personal data is governed by Kombatnet’s Privacy Policy.

The use of cookies, similar technologies, SDKs, advertising tools, measurement tools, and consent preferences is governed by the Cookie Policy.

We invite you to read both pages before using the platform.

26. Changes to the Terms

Kombatnet may update these Terms to reflect technical, functional, regulatory, commercial, or organizational changes.

When changes are relevant, we may inform you through the platform, by email, notifications, or other appropriate means.

The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the last update indicated.

By continuing to use Kombatnet after the publication of the changes, you accept the updated Terms, unless the law requires a different method of acceptance.

27. Applicable law and competent court

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory rights granted to the user by the laws of their country of residence.

If you use Kombatnet as a consumer, the mandatory rights and protections provided by applicable law remain unaffected, including the competent court provided by consumer protection rules.

If you use Kombatnet for professional, commercial, or business purposes, unless otherwise required by mandatory law, the competent court is Pesaro.
